Introversion for the win!

Hi everyone! I haven't posted in awhile because I can never think of anything to say..but today I have! Today I'm going to get a little serious. I'm going to talk about introverts. You may be wondering 'what on earth is an introvert?' well, I'll tell you. There are two kinds of personality types in this world. Introvert, and Extrovert. And of course there is Ambivert, which is in between. Introverts are the quiet people. Extroverts are the opposite. If you want to find out if you're an introvert or extrovert, there is a little quiz here I took from a book:
1. You prefer one-on-one conversations to group activities
2. You often prefer to express yourself in writing
3. You enjoy solitude
4. You seem to care less than your peers about wealth, fame, and status
5. You dislike small talk, but you enjoy talking in depth about topics that matter to you
6. People tell you you're a good listener
7. Your not a big risk-taker
8. You enjoy work that allows you to 'dive in' with few interruptions (More of an adult question)
9. You like to celebrate birthdays on a small scale, with only one or two close friends or family members
10. People describe you as 'soft-spoken' or 'mellow'
11. You prefer not to show or discuss your work with others until your finished
12. You dislike conflict
13. You do your best on your own
14. You tend to think before you speak
15. You feel drained after being out, even if you enjoyed yourself
16. You often let calls go through to voice mail (Again, more of an adult question)
17. If you had to choose, you'd prefer a weekend with absolutely nothing to do to one with too many things scheduled
18. You don't enjoy multitasking
19. You can concentrate easily
20. In classroom situations, you prefer lectures to seminars (For those in collage or above)

If you answered 'yes' to most of them, you are probably an introvert. (By the way all credit for the quiz goes to Susan Cain, author of 'Quiet, The Power Of Introverts In A World That Can't Stop Talking') I am an introvert. I suggest that you read the book mentioned above, it is very well-researched, it is quite a page turner! Anyway, now that I'm done explaining what an introvert is, I will tell you what I'm actually here for. Introverts are underlooked! Because they're quiet, people think they can't handle things! There is quite a difference between introversion and shyness. Shyness is when you're afraid to speak up. Introverts would much rather listen then talk. They aren't afraid like shy people are. I will talk more on this subject, but this blog has gotten a bit long, don't you think? Ta ta! (What am I, Brittish?)
